Voice
An English language voice-over assignment for a Spanish agency working for a German car company setting up dealerships in China. Been there, done that.
I still marvel at how much the industry has changed with the advent of the internet and of affordable digital recording tools. I am still summoned to appear in studio for some projects and I am equipped to record broadcast
quality audio in my (home) office (Neumann, Blue, Pro MPA, Lynx, Sound Forge). I am also equipped with what is known as a "phone patch". This allows me to communicate in real time with a producer via telephone while I record clean studio audio. Drew Gauley of Good Gauley Productions sat in his office in Toronto while I recorded in Montreal for his project on Cobalt Ontario (view clip).
Over the years, clients have included independent documentary producers like Drew Gauley and Cinemaria (narration for a National Film Board documentary), advertising agencies such as Bos for clients like Loto-Québec and Fido and corporate multimedia houses producing for organizations like St-Lawrence Cement, Home Depot and the U.S. Department of Energy.
